In addition to original content, Apple TV+ subscribers in the US can now stream 53 movies, including Kill Bill and Mad Max: Fury Road. Most are available in 4K and some are 3D.
The catalog of movies will be available on Apple TV+ – the company's subscription service – for a limited time and only in the US. Some of the movies will be removed by the end of March, while others will remain accessible until the end of April, as highlighted by Sigmund Judge on Threads (link).
The collection comprises major titles spanning from 1986 to 2018 from Disney, Lionsgate, Paramount, Sony Pictures, Universal, and Warner Bros.

Most of the titles can be streamed in 4K resolution with Dolby Vision HDR and/or Dolby Atmos audio.
Seven of them are available for streaming in 3D on Apple Vision Pro, including Gravity and Mad Max: Fury Road. See the table at the bottom for details.

Not a change in strategy
The addition of catalog titles does not signify a change in strategy for Apple TV+, which remains focused on new, original content. This contrasts with Netflix which offers both old and new content across all markets.
The company has previously experimented with adding catalog titles but these experiments have thus far been limited to the US. Such catalog movies are available to stream on Apple TV+ for only a brief period.
Perhaps it will lead to something more, but for now it can be viewed simply as a bonus for US subscribers.
