Following in Samsung's footsteps, LG has added support for Bluetooth Auracast to its 2025 OLED TVs and select LCD models.
Bluetooth Auracast was introduced in mid-2022 as an optional extension to the Bluetooth 5.2 standard.
Auracast lets a device, such as a TV, broadcast one or more audio streams – for example in different languages – to "an unlimited number of in-range Auracast receivers", including headphones, earbuds, hearing aids, soundbars and AV receivers from any brand.
In other words, it removes the current limitation of most TVs and streaming boxes, allowing you to listen with more than one or two Bluetooth headsets simultaneously.

Auracast in LG OLED TVs
Curiously, LG has not officially highlighted Auracast support, but the company confirmed to Tom's Guide that it is available in 2025 OLED TV as well as the QNED85A LCD range and above.
- "I tested it with three different headphones and earbuds that include the tech. The apps for the three headphones and earbuds are required to receive the signal (a separate iPhone or iPad was used for each device), and the TV’s stream needed to be selected on the individual apps," reported John Higgins, Tom's Guide.
The report also noted that audio can be sent to an AV receiver at the same time as to headphones.
The only official mention so far has come via an announcement with Starkey hearing aids, suggesting LG is primarily sees Auracast as an accessibility feature right now. However, it can be found in the regular Sound settings menu on 2025 LG TVs.

Still early days
Samsung became the first TV maker to support Auracast with its high-end 2023 models, and LG is now the second to our knowledge.
However, Auracast must also be supported in your headphones, and while there is a growing selection of compatible headphones and earbuds to choose from, Auracast is still not a standard feature.
The Bluetooth group has a list of certified Auracast products here, but it does not seem to be fully up-to-date.
