Samsung Display has unveiled its latest QD-OLED panel, a 32-inch panel combining 4K, 360Hz refresh rate and RGB-stripe pixels for improved text and graphics rendering.
At CES 2026 in January, we finally got the first OLED panels with RGB-stripe pixels, as opposed the problematic pixel structure on current QD-OLED display. The first QD-OLED panel to feature the new pixel layout was a 34-inch model.
Samsung Display is now also bringing its RGB-stripe pixel layout, which it calls V-stripe, to a 32-inch QD-OLED panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
360Hz or 680Hz
The 32-inch QD-OLED is the first panel to combine 4K resolution with a 360Hz refresh rate – up from 240Hz at 4K or 360Hz at 1440p previously. It also features a dual mode that enables up to 680Hz at 1080p resolution, making it one of the highest-spec monitor panels to date, according to Samsung Display.
The RGB-stripe pixel structure arranges red, green and blue sub-pixels in a vertical stripe pattern. This enables "sharper rendering of text edges" and is an "optimal monitor solution for users who are particularly sensitive to text readability, including those working on documents, coding, graphics and content creation," the company said.
Brightness specifications were not disclosed, but the panel has been certified for VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600, meaning peak brightness reaches at least 600 nits – and most likely significantly higher – while deep blacks are maintained.

In talks with 10 monitor makers
Samsung Display said that mass production is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026, with ongoing discussions with 10 global brands to supply the panel for upcoming monitors.
No specific brands were mentioned but we would expect these to be the usual suspects; Samsung Electronics, Asus, MSI, Dell etc.
- "Many customers have described the new 31.5-inch 4K 360Hz product as a near-perfect monitor that delivers everything consumers expect from a premium monitor, including ultra-high resolution, an ultra-high refresh rate, high brightness, and enhanced readability," said Brad Jung, Head of Large Display at Samsung Display. "Building on the fundamental image quality advantages of QD-OLED and our continuous research and development efforts, Samsung Display will continue to introduce innovative products that exceed market expectations."
The panel is being showcased for the first time at Computex 2026 in Taipei next week.
