Vizio’s 21:9 TV now available
They told us to expect it in 2010, then 2011 and the last we heard was ”March 2012”. It took some years but now it is finally here – but only in limited stock.

Vizio’s CInemaWide TV
Vizio’s new 21:9 TV is 58 inches large and utilizes the extra wide movie format used in most cinematic movies. That way you can avoid black bars on the top and bottom while watching Hollywood productions. This is done by cutting bars from Full HD Blu-ray movies and scaling them to the native 2560x1080p resolution on the panel.
Vizio Cinemawide also offers a 3D experience based on the passive 3D technology with polarized 3D glasses. Internet apps have also been integrated.
Vizio XVT3D580CM is available now from www.vizio.com for $2499. The 50-inch and 71-inch Cinemawide TVs announced at CES 2012 will not become available, Vizio says.
