Sony’s 77-inch OLED TV will be the company’s most expensive TV. It expands the A1 OLED range that currently consists of two 55 and 65-inch models.
77” Sony A1 OLED
Like all other 77” OLED TVs, Sony’s model will be very expensive. It is reserved for the ultra high-end segment of the market. However, at the same time it emphasizes the fact that OLED is not yet a competitive option to LCDs in 65+ inch screen sizes.
Like the smaller A1 OLED models, the new 77” offers 4K resolution and support for three HDR formats. HDR10 and HLG are active now and Dolby Vision will be added with a firmware update later this year.

It also features Sony’s unique ’Acoustic Surface’ speaker system that uses the actual OLED panel to produce sound. There is a subwoofer installed on the rear of the stand.
