Sharp calls it the Aquos Wireless Lifestyle TV and the idea is simple. Now you can take your TV out into your garden or bring it to rooms in your house that have no TV reception. The TV is portable and therefore incorporates a battery. A cool detail is the carrying handle on the top.
Sharp's wireless and portable TV
Sharp wants to help you enjoy TV everywhere in your home. That is why they plan to release a 20-inch portable TV that runs on either power or battery. The TV can be moved around and gets a wireless signal from a small media box.

The media box comes with both digital tuners and HDMI inputs, which means that you can either transmit TV channels or HDMI sources such as Blu-ray/DVD players or PC/media centers. Sharp’s portable TV is based on the Wireless HDMI standard.

The TV is based on an LCD panel with Edge LED backlighting, which makes the TV lighter, slimmer and more power efficient for longer battery life. Sharp also mentions 100 Hz and Aquos Net+ Internet features. Lastly, DLNA streaming is highlighted to allow streaming of video, music and pictures from other devices around the house. The 20-inch TV comes with a 1366x768 pixel resolution.
