BD-F8900 has a 1TB hard drive built in and has plenty of space for TV recordings, even in HD. The cheaper BD-F8500 offers 500GB but is otherwise identical. The HDD recorders also offer a dual tuner that allows you to record two shows at once, and you can obviously al schedule future recordings.

Built-in Smart Hub
Samsung has incorporated the Smart Hub with access to the same TV apps and “Smart” features available on its Smart TVs, including apps for streaming services such as Netflix.
The Smart Hub is powered by a dual-core processor. Screen mirroring enables Galaxy smartphone/tablet owners to stream TV channels on the mobile device and also push media files from the mobile device onto the TV screen via the HDD recorder box. It is also possible to surf the web via the built-in limited web browser. WiFi is integrated in both players.
Samsung’s new HDD recorders will be available in Europe around April. No words on pricing yet.
