Loewe’s Individual TV range has been updated and the “new Individual” will start appearing in European markets very soon. The TVs come with an integrated HHD recorder, Smart TV apps and unique iPad integration features.

Loewe is once again upgrading its Individual TV range; TVs that can be customized to your living room and taste. You can select from different base design, bezel colors, side panels, speaker setups and much more.

Loewe says that new LCD panels have been integrated in the three 40, 46 and 55 inch models that support 2D as well as 3D (based on active shutter glasses). Loewe also advertises a 400 Hz system and a contrast filter on the panel.
Loewe has given special attention to sound quality with integrated 2x40W speakers and an integrated multi-channel sound decoder that lets you connect external speakers and use the built-in speakers as a center.

Internet, network and iPad integration
One of the key features is the media integration. Loewe’s Individual TVs come with a Smart TV platform, dubbed MediaNet, with TV apps and internet services such as Facebook and twitter. The TVs support HbbTV (in select countries) and can be connected either via LAN, WiFi or powerline.

The integrated 750GB HDD allows you to record TV shows and movies and if you have other Loewe TVs in the home you can stream TV channels and recordings seamlessly. A “follow me” feature lets you pause a TV channel in the living room and continue in the bedroom.

Loewe has also worked hard to improve integration with Apple’s eco system, and in particular the iPad. The Assist Media app for iPad is not just a remote but also has a full, interactive TV guide that lets you browse TV channel lists on the iPad and select what you want to watch. Via the Assist Media app users can also control the MediaNet internet features and browse recordings.
The new Individual TVs will be available in 40, 46 and 55 inch sizes soon. Prices have not been announced.
