The media streamer was announced in May and the price leaked last week. The Chinese electronics manufacturer now confirms that the box is available to buy in the US.

The Mi Box runs on Android TV version 6.0. It features 4K, HDR (High Dynamic range), Google Cast, ac WiFi, HEVC decoding, VP9 Profile 2 decoding, a quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage (expandable via USB), and HDMI 2.0a.
Besides that, it naturally supports all the usual features of Android TV, including apps such as Netflix, HBO, Vudu, and more. Amazon Video is not available on Android TV.
The Mi Box is available now in the US for $69 from mi.com and Walmart. No launch details for other regions have been announced.
