Philips will launch its first Ambilight TVs with an upgraded 4-stack OLED panel as well as improved affordable OLED models. There are also TVs with miniLED LCD, Ambilight Plus, B&W speakers, and more. Titan OS rules, but Google TV stays in a few models. Here's Philips' 2025 TV line-up.
We have redesigned our TV line-up overview to include more data and technical information (under TV models click on to expand the view). We are also introducing an interactive TV compare tool (use to add TVs to compare tool). It's all powered by the TV Database.
The big news is that Philips will launch not one but two OLED ranges with the 4-stack OLED panel, which uses a new 'Primary RGB Tandem' pixel structure to achieve up to 3700 nits peak brightness and significantly improved color, according to Philips. This panel no longer relies on microlenses (MLA).
The two ranges, OLED950 and OLED910, both also feature 4-sided Ambilight and an upgraded version of the company's video processor: the P5 AI Gen9 Dual in OLED950 and P5 AI Gen9 in OLED910. These upgraded processors include various AI-based algorithms to detect and enhance the picture based on the type of content. Alternatively, users can opt for Filmmaker Mode, including for Dolby Vision content.
Both flagship ranges will be available in sizes up to 77 inches, with Philips still taking a wait-and-see approach to larger OLED TVs.
OLED950 features a 70W 2.1 speaker system, while OLED910 comes with an 81W 3.1 Bowers & Wilkins sound system. In other words, Philips is changing the script this year by offering its flagship without B&W speakers so that enthusiasts will not have to pay extra for the B&W speakers when they want to pair the TV with external speakers
Again in 2025, Philips will use Google TV in its high-end models, while mid-range and entry-level models will continue to run the relatively new Titan OS.
Google TV is a well-known OS that supports almost all popular streaming apps, except for some local apps and the Xbox game streaming app. This year, the Google TV models ship with Android 14 and still include built-in Google Cast, Google Home, and many other Google features. The new Gemini-based AI features will roll out first in the US, but Philips could not provide a timeline for a European rollout – it is up to Google.
The models with Titan OS, including the more affordable OLED760, will be faster and include a new Game Bar 2.0 with access to Blacknut and Boosteroid cloud gaming services, according to Philips. FlatpanelsHD saw it in action in Barcelona earlier this year – you can think of it as a version of Google TV or Titan OS's homescreen, but dedicated to cloud gaming titles. More hands-on impressions with Philips' 2025 TVs soon.

The Titan OS models use a Novatek chipset, while the Google TV models are built on a MediaTek chipset. The Novatek solution includes four HDMI 2.1-bandwidth ports, whereas the Google TV models still have only two HDMI 2.1 ports..
All 2025 LCD models will feature Titan OS, including two new models, MLED950 and MLED910, with miniLED zone dimming and quantum dots – the number of zones was not specified. The MLED950 is the only 2025 model to feature the improved 3-sided Ambilight Plus system, which allows the ambient light on the wall behind the TV to be controlled in 192 zones. However, last year's OLED959 with Ambilight Plus will carry over into 2025.
Philips will also offer a wide line-up of mid-range LCD TVs, most with Ambilight. Above are the highlights, including 'The One' (PUS9000), but scroll down to the model overviews for more details and side-by-side comparisons (use the orange icons).
The company will also launch an upgraded range of soundbars that will work with any TV but are designed specifically to fit underneath the new Philips TVs. The new B8500 soundbar is Philips' first to feature HDMI 2.1 passthrough.

The existing features from Philips are of still there, including multi-HDR support (HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG), Dolby Atmos, Apple AirPlay (in the Google TV models), FreeSync / G-Sync Compatible, and much more.
You can recognize a 2025 Philips TV by the model number ending on '0'. As a reminder: xxx0 = 2025, xxx9 = 2024, xxx9 = 2024, xxx8 = 2023, xxx7 = 2022, xxx6 = 2021, xxx5 = 2020, xxx4 = 2019, xxx3 = 2018, xxx2 = 2017, xxx1 = 2016.
The line-up overview will be updated continuously to reflect any changes or new models announced by Philips. Once the TVs become available, the model name and size will become an active and clickable link to price comparison or retailers.
