The first details about three new Dell UltraSharp monitors have merged on the internet. Dell is going to release the so-called U2411M, U2312HM and U2212HM model. All models come with IPS panels and LED backlight.

Dell U2412M, U2312HM & U2212HM
Dell currently has U2410, U2311H and U2211H on the market but these three are to be replaced with U2412M, U2312HM & U2212HM in 2011.
The three new monitors come with IPS panels and white LED backlight. The LED backlight is believed to make them slimmer than previous models but no picture have been released to confirm this. LED also lower power consumption considerably.

Dell’s current U2410 model (seen above) is to be replaced with U2412M
Dell U2412M is a 24-inch model and is a 16:10 monitor with 1920x1200 resolution. It is also believed to be a standard color gamut monitor and feature a matte coating.
U2312HM is a 23-inch model and U2212HM is a 22-inch model – both with IPS and 16:9 format. These monitors come with LED as well.
At this point we have no further information but we will keep you updated as soon as possible. Until then see Dells website here for proof. The new monitors are expected in a few months. Dell U2412M will cost 399 USD.
