The big news from LG this year is webOS; a new TV platform with a focus on simplicity. LG wants to make it easier to access TV services such as Netflix alongside TV channels, and has incorporated easy switching between apps with multi-tasking. WebOS looks promising.

LG is releasing a range of new models from the low-end to the high-end. The high-end models come with Ultra HD resolution as well as HDMI 2.0 and HEVC decoding. They also support 4K streaming from Netflix. LG has three Ultra HD ranges in 2014.
