Philips 8700

8700 is curved and 8600 is flat. They both offer Ultra HD resolution. Like most other new TVs from Philips, these models are based on Google’s “Android TV” operating system, which offers access to TV channels, apps, music, and games. The storage space is only 16GB but you can extend it by an additional 128GB by connecting a USB device. 4K content can be streamed from Netflix via HEVC decoding and from YouTube via VP9 decoding.
