Samsung will introduce a 'zero bezel' TV at CES 2020, according to a Korean newspaper, and 4KFilme.de has found pictures that seemingly reveal the design. It is likely to be a range of 8K LCD TVs called Q900T or Q950T.
Samsung zero bezel TV
Earlier this week, Korean newspaper The Elec reported that Samsung will introduce a new "premium, bezel-less TV" at CES 2020 in Las Vegas. It may be launched as the 'Zero Bezel TV', a term that was trademarked by Samsung two months ago.
- "Unlike other so-called 'zero-bezel' products that actually still had bezels, this product really doesn't have a bezel," one developer who worked closely with the project told The Elec. "Samsung has become the first in the world to realize such an extreme design."
German website 4KFilme.de has now published pictures that seemingly reveal the new TV, most likely to be called Q900T or Q950T. The pictures were originally posted on Samsung's "Age of Experience" CES 2020 preview site in reference to a new Q800T soundbar for 2020.
At first glance, the TV looks like 2019's Q90R model but look a little closer and you will find that there is no frame or bezel, except for the bottom. The frameless TV was described as an 8K TV that will be part of Samsung's "QLED" range of LCD TVs.
FlatpanelsHD can corroborate some of the details. A source recently told us that Samsung in 2020 will launch a bezel-less TV that can hang flush to the wall. However, since it is based on LCD technology it will not be as slim as LG's "wallpaper" OLED TVs.

CES 2020 is just around the corner and the 'Zero Bezel TV' is likely to be one of the highlights from Samsung. We also expect to see new 4K TVs (Q90T, Q80T and Q70T?), the vertical Sero TV, new soundbars, and microLED concepts from Samsung. FlatpanelsHD will be in Las Vegas to cover CES.
