NBC Sports will for the first time for a Winter Olympics provide live broadcasts in 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos in the US. Comcast, Verizon, YouTube TV and others will carry the signal.

NBC's primetime coverage of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, 'Prime Plus' shows, the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony will be made available in 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos.

It was confirmed that Comcast/Xfinity, fuboTV, Verizon Fios, and YouTube TV will make NBC's Ultra HD broadcasts available in either all US regions or select US regions. More detailed information for each distributor can be found here. It was not confirmed which providers will offer Dolby Atmos audio.
4K resolution offers four times the pixels of Full HD while HDR (High Dynamic Range) can deliver a wider range of colors and contrast.

NBC's Peacock streaming service will not offer 4K streaming of the 2022 Winter Olympics. It is still limited to HD.
Events in 4K HDR during the Winter Olympics include figure skating, skiing, snowboarding, hockey, bobsled, and other sports, said NBC.
NBCUniversal will provide coverage of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games from February 2-20. The opening ceremony is scheduled for February 4.
