Starting on May 18 with South Africa and ending on June 16 with Israel, Disney+ will soon kick off its summer 2022 launch campaign in 42 new countries and 11 territories.
Disney+ in 100+ countries
Disney+ will soon expand from 64 countries to over 100 countries. The company today confirmed the launch dates and pricing for all new regions.
- "Disney+, the streaming service from The Walt Disney Company, has confirmed its launch dates and pricing for the 42 countries and 11 new territories with South Africa to launch on 18th May followed by all other countries listed in June," the company announced.
Disney+ will offer access to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic hubs, and in some regions the Star hub (20th Century content). Movies and series can be enjoyed in up to 4K Dolby Vision, IMAX aspect ratio, and Dolby Atmos.
- "Users will have access to high-quality viewing, up to four concurrent streams, unlimited downloads on up to ten devices, IMAX Enhanced for selected titles (where available), and the ability to set up to seven different profiles, including the ability for parents to set Kids Profiles that have an easy-to-navigate child-friendly interface to access age-appropriate content," added Disney.
The company highlighted titles such as The Book of Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, Moon Knight, Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings, Luca, Encanto, Free Guy, The Simpsons and Grey’s Anatomy
