In addition to the new TV models for 2022, TCL has today revealed new soundbars including a flagship 5.1.2ch Dolby Atmos soundbar.

Known as C935U, TCL says that its second-generation Dolby Atmos soundbar powered by 'Ray-Danz' technology delivers an "an extremely wide soundstage" through 5 sound channels, a wireless subwoofer, and 3 up-firing speakers in 2 up-firing channels.

In addition, TCL will add a 3.1ch soundbar (P733W) and a 2.1ch soundbar (S522W) to the line-up this year.

TCL entered the soundbar market only a few years ago with mid-range soundbars designed for the mainstream market. The Chinese company has since expanded its line-up to include a premium model and while the second-generation C935U soundbar offers fewer audio channels than LG and Samsung's flagship soundbars, it should still deliver much improved sound as compared to built-in TV speakers.

TCL teased that it will launch a higher-end soundbar at the IFA show in Berlin later this year.

The new soundbars were announced today at TCL's 2022 launch event and will be available this summer. Prices were not announced. FlatpanelsHD will publish hands-on impressions later.

With the Bass Boost feature, they will also feel the instant boost of the bass with a simple push of a button. 2.1 channel TCL C522W

Tested and tuned at the award-winning iLab in Belgium, this soundbar is developed by TCL in-house team who have extensive expertise in sound and acoustic experiences. Equipped with 2.1 channel soundbar system with subwoofer, TCL S522W is destined to improve the entertainment experience with room-filling and stunning sound.  It comes with three distinct listening modes (Movie, Music, and News). The soundbar is equipped with Bluetooth for easy wireless streaming, so users can stream their favorite music anytime by connecting their smart device with it.
