TCL Europe's 2022 TV line-up includes a massive 98-inch 4K LCD TV with LED zone dimming that will cost 6000 Euro. TCL's flagship C935 miniLED LCD will start at 2000 Euro.
TCL Europe unveiled its 2022 TV line-up, including C935, C835 and C735, last week. The new high-end LCD TVs feature miniLED zone dimming for improved contrast and backlight control. Other features include Google TV, HDMI 2.1, Onkyo sound, multi-HDR support, and AirPlay 2.
The TVs can be seen as direct alternatives to Samsung and Sony's 4K LCD TVs, and TCL has priced its flagship C935 considerably lower than Samsung's QN95B and Sony's X95K – both of which feature a similar miniLED zone dimming system.
TCL Europe's new 98-inch C735 4K TV
98" 4K LCD for 6000 Euro
The 98-inch C735 4K LCD TV will cost around 6000 Euro in Europe, TCL confirmed to FlatpanelsHD. It may cost a little more or a little less, depending on your region. Unlike the other C735 screen sizes, the 98-inch is equipped with an LED zone dimming system (FALD).
TCL will also launch 98-inch R754 4K LCD TV in North America. It is expected to cost less than $8000, the company said earlier this year.
In addition, TCL confirmed to FlatpanelsHD the Euro prices of the other 2022 models. We refer to the table below. TCL added that its new 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos soundbar will cost 600 Euro.
Some of TCL's 2022 models are already available in Europe while others will launch in April and May. The 98-inch C735 is expected to show up a little later in the year.
