Amazon's free ad-supported streaming service, formerly known as IMDb TV, is now available as an app for Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K.

The free streaming service offers acces to titles such as Mad Men, Knives Out, Bosch: Legacy and Pretty Hard Cases with ads. There are over 75 streaming channels accessible.

At this time, Amazon Freevee is available only in the US and the UK. Amazon has announced plans to expand to more regions.

Free ad-supported streaming TV, also known as FAST, has been gaining popularity in recent years. Besides Amazon's Freevee (IMDb TV), there are services such as the Pluto TV, Roku Channel, Tubi and Peacock.

Disney+ and Netflix are planning to launch ad-supported plans but it remains to be seen if these will be free to access.

Amazon Freevee was already available on Fire TV, Roku, LG Smart TVs, Samsung Smart TVs, Android TV, Google TV, Xbox, PlayStation, and other devices.

The app can be dowloaded on Apple TV now.
