The first 77-inch QD-OLED TV (S95C) has been listed on Samsung's website with a suggested retail price of $4499. The company will also launch a cheaper S90C version.
Samsung recently announced two new QD-OLED TV ranges for 2023; S95C with the external One Connect box and an ultra-slim design as well as S90C without One Connect. The big news is that QD-OLED is expanding to 77 inches (both 2023 Samsung ranges) to better compete with large WOLED TVs that currently top out at 97 inches.
The company has now listed the 77" S95C QD-OLED TV for $4499 on its own website. No further details about the launch or other sizes are provided on Samsung's website at this time.
Samsung S95C also features with a 4.2.2ch Dolby Atmos speaker system, Tizen 7.0 with the Gaming Hub including cloud gaming apps such as Xbox, and Matter smart home support. Samsung Display claims that the 2023 QD-OLED panel can reach more than 2000 nits peak brightness but we would not count on that number being accurate for calibrated mode. We await a review sample to do our own tests.

More expensive than 77" WOLED
For comparison LG's 77-inch G2 OLED TV carried a suggested retail price of $4000 at launch in spring 2022 and is now available for $3600 while the less advanced 77-inch B2 OLED TV is available for $2000.
LG will announce availability and pricing details for the 2023 models later. Sony will unveil its 2023 line-up soon and it is a possibility that it too will add 77-inch QD-OLED to the line-up in addition to 77-inch WOLED.
