Crunchyroll now available on newer LG Smart TVs globally

The Crunchyroll app is now also serving up anime movies and series on select LG Smart TVs worldwide, except Brazil.

After coming to Apple TV (tvOS), Google TV and most recently newer Samsung Smart TVs, Crunchyroll is now also available directly on newer LG Smart TVs.

- "Our new partnership with LG makes it even easier to be an anime fan," said Kaliel Roberts, Chief Product Officer at Crunchyroll. "Anime offers a variety of genres and viewing adventures and now viewers have even more options to dive deeper."

Only newer LG Smart TVs

As always, the app is only compatible with newer LG Smart TVs, specifically those with webOS 4.0 or later, meaning 2018 models or later. LG does not offer webOS upgrades for old models so app developers typically cannot support them.
