Why 24fps is not enough for HDR movies

please could you review this plasma?
I saw it in a shop... and its image was ugly!! almost impossible think that samsung produced a tv like this one. Also changing settings results were the same... please i'd like to give it a chanche, could you perform a professional review of this set?

I'm not sure that we'll review the cheaper plasma TVs from Samsung but we'll receive the C7000 (C8000 in USA) soon.

There is some confusion here because of C7000 and C8000.

Is the C7000, EU-version equal zo the C8000 from US?
Do you know this?
Isn't C8000 the "Udpate" of B850?
Is there a C8000 planned for EU later?

It's a mess, that in EU is (nearly) no usable 58"-60" - PDP is available!

So I'm forced to choose between 60PK950 and 58C6500.
I need no 3D, because I don't believe in it - unless it comes up to 80 Hz PER EACH eye...

OK, could you please give me a hint because of the questions above?

Hi Rasmus,

It would really be great if you manage to review this model.
Fully agree with Cayenne on the current mess on the EU market. Panasonic's decision to limit G and V series in EU to 50" was unpleasant surprise for me at least. Currently PS58C6500 is like an only option available at this size...

I remember after reviewing Samsung B850 you tended to prefer it overall vs. Panasonic's V10. So it would be interesting to see how C6500 compares vs. B850. Well of course the comparison of C7000 vs. B850 would also do part of the job. It seems that the only diffrence (picture wise) between C7000 and C6500 will be Real Black Filter...

Anyway we will be looking forward to any forthcoming review of Samsung plasma

in my opinion it would help a lot if Rasmus could be so kind and answer at least the following q's:

1. Does the Real Black Filter also affect the picture in a dark room (seriously)?
2. Is retention still an issue for Sammy?
3. How is the black value compared to C7000, B850 and PK950?
4. What about the DLNA in comparison to the PK950?

And once more, industries seems to "censor" EU market in this sector of PDP's,
because it's no problem to list ALL available displays in a short list, inch uprisingly:
PS58C6300, LG60PK950, PS63C7790, TX-P65V/VT20 - that's it.

Please remember that nearly ALL models in US are available in (50) /54/58 or 60 and 63 or 65 inch...

Btw: Does anybody know a specialist, who is able to import 58" PDP like TX-P58V25 or PS58C8000?
