Samsung recently started mass production of transparent LCD panels and LG has just exhibited a transparent 47-inch LCD panel based on IPS panel technology. The panel also comes with multi-touch and Full HD resolution.

Samsung and LG are competing to be the innovation leader and at the moment they are battling to show off the most impressive transparent LCD panels. Samsung has started mass production but LG has a new innovative 47-inch prototype up and running.

The 47-inch panel is transparent and support multi-touch which means that you can control it with your fingertips. It’s also a Full HD panel. See the video below for more information.



LG says that they plan to sell it to shopping malls as a digital signage solution but at the moment LG has not said when they plan to start mass production of the panel.
