LG has today announced two new affordable OLED TVs named EG920V and EG910V with 4K and HD resolution, respectively. The new HD model will start at 2299 Euro.
Two new OLEDs, EG920V & EG910V
LG announced a full line-up of OLED TVs at CES in January but these two models were not amongst them. We are looking at new cheaper OLED models. EG920V will offer 4K resolution and EG910V will offer HD resolution. Both TVs are curved and will be available in 55 inch sizes only.
So far, LG has announced the TVs for Europe and it appears that they will only be available in select regions. Both TVs come with LG’s webOS operating system and the motion-enabled Magic Remote. EG920V additionally supports HEVC decoding, which is required to stream Netflix and other streaming services in 4K. Both TVs come equipped with three HDMI inputs for connecting external boxes. We are chasing more information.
LG 55EG920V and 55EG910V will hit stores in Europe this fall with suggested retail prices of 4199 Euro for the 4K model and 2299 Euro for the HD model.
