Last week Google told to expect the Google TV 2.0 update with TV Apps within a week and now it is officially rolling out to Sony’s Google TVs and boxes. Logitech Revue owners should receive it shortly.

Google has finally released their 2.0 Honeycomb update for Google TV. The update introduces TV Apps and a new user-friendly interface.

Owners of Sony’s Google TV and Sony’s Google boxes can now find the update on their devices. Logitech Revue owners will have to wait a bit longer.

We have already taken a hands-on look at Google TV 2.0 and it is expected to arrive in Europe in 2012. Google and YouTube are also planning to invest more than 100 million US dollars in YouTube channels with exclusive TV content.
