The next-generation Xbox goes by the codename Durango and is expected to be more powerful to enable next-generation gaming. Previous rumors have also circled around a new version of the Kinect motion sensor that will be more accurate. The new Xbox is allegedly built on the Windows 8 core in order to utilize the advantages of cross-platform devices. An earlier rumor said that Microsoft is also working on display glasses. However, they are not expected to be ready when the Xbox launches.

Microsoft will reveal the first details on the new Xbox at the event on May 21st and disclose full details later in June at the E3 conference. Microsoft’s plan is to start selling the Xbox later this year.

What do you hope to see in the new Xbox?
