The TV Database
FlatpanelsHD launched the TV Database (in beta) last year and we have made several tweaks and updates since. On the main page you can set filters to find TV models that fit your needs and compare them with the Compare Tool. On the product pages (example) you can find full specifications and data.
The TV Database now also includes data on the following features:
Supported audio formats, i.e. Dolby Atmos, Dolby E-AC-3, Dolby AC4, DTS:X, DTS-HD etc.
Which SoC / system chip is used in the TV model, confirmed either through our own tests or user reports
Supported streaming apps: Right now Amazon, Apple TV, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix and YouTube, with plans to add more
The level of High Frame Rate (4K120), or HFR, support in a TV model, i.e. 4K120 HDR10 and/or 4K120 Dolby Vision
Whether Filmmaker Mode is supported, either manually or automatically
Whether HGiG is supported for HDR gaming calibration
Support for HDR format extensions, i.e Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive
Other improvements since launch: VRR frequency range, ATSC tuner type (1.0 or 3.0), HDMI CEC support, WiFi nomenclature (WiFi 5, 6 etc.)
Coming later: Ethernet port speed and power consumption figures
