New Apple TV in October
New Apple TV software & hardware soon - rumor

12 Sep 2013 | Rasmus Larsen |

First we heard that Apple planned to unveil new Apple TV hardware at the iPhone event, later it was changed to software. Nothing happened, so the rumor-mongers are now saying that new software will arrive on September 18th and new hardware in October.

New Apple TV software and hardware soon

As Apple had nothing new Apple TV related to show off at the iPhone even this Tuesday, some rumor-mongers have gone into damage control. The story has now changed, and Apple is instead expected to release new Apple TV software on September 18th with the release of iOS7.

Rumors says that Apple is planning to release new Apple TV software and hardware very soon

But that it not all. Another source says that Apple will not only release new software, but also new Apple TV hardware. MG Siegler is a former journalist and is known to have sources inside Apple. The new hardware will allegedly be launched next month. The new iPad are also rumored to arrive next month, so it is not unlikely that we will see an Apple TV hardware refresh at the same event.

- ”I guess those excited about a software refresh in a week are gonna be *really* excited when new Apple TV hardware is unveiled next month.” tweets MG Siegler.

So, what to expect? Rumors say that the Airplay system will be expanded, but not much else has slipped out. We have obviously heard all this before, and MG Siegler previously said November. We believe it when we see it, but something is definitely brewing.
